TVFCATEOD Chapter 71

She wanted to conquer Liang Zhiyu, engaging in a playful flirtation with him. But unfortunately, they were caught in the act, and the person who caught them was Fu Chen.

It seemed like the heavens were deliberately working against her.

Lately, Fu Chen’s possessiveness towards her had been growing stronger. He used his older brother’s identity to get close to her intimately, like a wolf eyeing its prey. Now that he caught her in an ambiguous flirtation with Liang Zhiyu, he probably wanted to destroy her.

Bai Qingqing’s heart trembled, and she instinctively distanced herself from Liang Zhiyu. With innocent and clear eyes, she softly said, “Brother, are you also here to look at the stars?”

A faint smile appeared on the corners of Liang Zhiyu’s lips as he calmly watched her nonsense.

She deceived Fu Chen using the excuse of amnesia, pretending to have lost her memories, in order to gain his protection by manipulating his feelings. Fu Chen had a sinister and peculiar personality, and if he found out that she hadn’t really lost her memories, her fate would be miserable.

This delicate little fox played with people’s hearts using her acting skills, but she was filled with fear when it came to Fu Chen.

Fu Chen narrowed his eyes, his thin lips forming a straight line. He strode toward the two of them with long legs.

As soon as he stepped out, he saw a man and a woman chatting in the corridor. Both of them had relaxed smiles on their faces, and there was an uncomfortable atmosphere surrounding them that made him uneasy.

When he saw that it was Bai Qingqing and Liang Zhiyu, anger surged through his body, and he almost immediately interrupted the subtle atmosphere between them.

He knew that Xiao Yang often bothered Qingqing, but she didn’t have any interest in him and didn’t even consider him. However, he forgot to consider whether there were other people in the team who might have the same intentions.

After dealing with Cheng Rui, there was still a wolf cub always trying to take advantage of the situation. He didn’t expect that the old fox would also want to interfere.

Liang Zhiyu had a gentle and courteous temperament, which was indeed the type of man that girls liked the most. Just his refined appearance alone made him popular among women.

Fu Chen remembered how Bai Qingqing often chatted with Liang Zhiyu about art and praised him for being a good cook and a good man. His face grew gloomy.

“It’s so late, and you’re still not resting.” He pulled the girl to his side, his black eyes coldly staring at Liang Zhiyu.

Liang Zhiyu raised his gaze to meet his, and a faint smile appeared on his lips. “Captain, you’re really strict as a brother.”

Fu Chen said expressionlessly, “My little sister is still naive, so of course I have to be strict to prevent her from being deceived by some fox.”

The atmosphere between the two men clashed, as if two sharp knives were suspended in the air, capable of tearing the surrounding space into fragments.

Bai Qingqing stood between them, feeling a cold sweat forming on her back.

These two men were the strongest and most difficult to figure out in the team. The conquest had only reached halfway, and if she succeeded in conquering both of them, she would probably end up being chopped into pieces.

From the corner of her eye, Bai Qingqing caught a glimpse of a painting and immediately discreetly stored it away, afraid that Fu Chen might see it.

Just as she stored the painting away, her coat on her shoulders was abruptly pulled off, and Fu Chen tossed it to the man in front of him, saying indifferently, “Take care of the coat.”

Bai Qingqing awkwardly smiled and said, “Dr. Liang, thank you for your coat.”

Liang Zhiyu held the coat and straightened it before draping it over his arm. He kindly said, “It’s getting late, let’s go back and rest.”

Bai Qingqing nodded slightly, glanced at Fu Chen’s expression, and whispered, “Brother, I’m going to sleep.”

Fu Chen grabbed her hand and pulled her into the room.

“Bang!” The door slammed shut.

Caught off guard, Bai Qingqing was pressed against the door. In the dimly lit room, the man’s gaze burned intensely, fixed on her.

“Brother?” Her voice carried a high level of nervousness. “What are you going to do?”

Her heartbeat raced, and she tightly gripped her dress. In the darkness, she couldn’t see the expression on the man’s face, but his intense gaze made her feel uneasy.

Because it was excessively aggressive, it felt as if he was going to devour his prey without any hesitation.

The room was quiet, and the air seemed to be filled with a sense of danger, creating an intense feeling of oppression.

Fu Chen lowered his gaze and looked at the girl trapped in his embrace. She was wearing a thin nightgown, and her petite body exuded a seductive fragrance. Her fair hands tightly grasped her dress, resembling a little child who had made a mistake, feeling anxious and afraid.

He remained silent, just watching her like this, while rationality and loss of control battled inside his mind, edging closer to the brink of danger.

Since the time Xiao Yang awakened him, he had planned to possess her. He didn’t like her getting too close to other men, and even her casual smiles towards others displeased him.

This wasn’t like him, it wasn’t rational or calm.

The few times he lost control were all because of her, as if a beast trapped in a cage had broken free from its chains and was about to devour something.

Xiao Yang wouldn’t bring him a sense of crisis, but Liang Zhiyu would. He was actually a bit afraid that she might develop feelings for Liang Zhiyu.

Emotions surged in Fu Chen’s eyes, and a trace of jealousy, like a small bug, wriggled inside him, making him extremely uncomfortable.

Bai Qingqing slowed down her breathing, swallowed her saliva, and squinted at the man, trying to discern his emotions at the moment. Softly, she spoke, “Brother…”

The man’s ice-cold and slender fingers pinched her chin, causing a tremor. Her voice retreated, and she didn’t dare to move.

“Hush, don’t move.” Fu Chen stared at the beautiful and alluring girl, strange flashes in his pitch-black eyes. He slowly caressed her delicate skin with his fingers.

He indulged her little temper. If she wanted to throw a tantrum, he could indulge her. He could give her anything she wanted, but there was one condition: she had to obediently stay by his side.

Bai Qingqing’s heart trembled slightly, always feeling like the man would do something in the next second. Her heartbeat thundered in her chest.

In the silent night, in the dimly lit room, in the secluded and confined space, an ambiguous tension filled the air.

When she was on the verge of losing patience, a kiss descended upon her abruptly, capturing her tender lips accurately. The touch was cold and soft.

“Mmm.” Bai Qingqing’s mind exploded, and she stood frozen in place.

Her first kiss with him had happened in the dense forest, back when she had no other choice but to save him. It couldn’t really be counted as a kiss.

Was Fu Chen planning to expose that they weren’t true siblings and confront her about it? No, that couldn’t happen. If their sibling relationship became non-existent at a moment like this, it would complicate her future plans.

Seeing that she seemed stunned and her mind blank, Fu Chen tightened his grip on her jaw and intensified the kiss, biting and nibbling on her tender and moist lips.

Bai Qingqing felt her lips burning and a slight tingling sensation mixed with pain. Her heart raced in chaos, and she immediately began to struggle, pushing him away with all her might.

The man grabbed her annoying hands and held them up, in an irresistible position, continuing to kiss her fiercely as if he wanted to devour her completely.

Bai Qingqing struggled for a short while, but soon her body lost all strength. The man’s strong arms embraced her slender waist, and the kiss turned gentle, sucking on her lips with a sweet and unique taste that belonged only to her.

She didn’t know how long it had passed, but her face turned red, and she nearly ran out of breath.

Sensing her abnormal state, Fu Chen released her lips. Her body went limp, and she leaned against his chest, breathing softly. After a moment, she suddenly raised her head.

“How could you do such a thing to me?” This was the reaction she should have had. She was suddenly kissed by her brother, feeling embarrassed, angry, and confused, with tears welling up in her teary eyes, her cheeks blushing, her pearlescent appearance incredibly moving.

The fire in Fu Chen’s eyes didn’t extinguish. His sexy Adam’s apple rolled, and he wanted to kiss her again, but he couldn’t be impulsive like before.

“Don’t cry.” His slender fingers caressed her face, his thin lips wiping away her tears. His voice was magnetic and hoarse, saying, “Brother only kisses you because he likes you.”

“No.” Bai Qingqing certainly couldn’t give in at this moment. She reached out to push him, but the tall and sturdy man didn’t budge at all.

Biting her swollen red lips, Bai Qingqing avoided him with a mixture of grievance and anger. “No, you can’t like me.”

She tapped into her acting skills, lowering her voice and shouted, “How could you do this? Get away from me, stay away.”

The girl’s reaction was within Fu Chen’s expectations. He grabbed her resisting hands, firmly controlling her in his embrace, and threatened in a low and menacing tone, “If you cry again, I’ll kiss you again.”

Bai Qingqing choked and stopped, looking up at him through a mist of tears, disbelief in her eyes.

Fu Chen extended his slender fingers to wipe away the tears on both sides of her cheeks and said, “Qingqing, listen to brother. Actually… you’re not my sister.”

Bai Qingqing was struck as if by lightning, her pupils contracting intensely, and more tears welled up in her eyes. She said, “It’s impossible! You’re lying to me!”

“I’m not lying to you,” Fu Chen said in a deep voice. “When you woke up with amnesia, you mistook me for your brother.”

“So, everything was a lie?” Bai Qingqing twisted her brows, tears flowing incessantly. She said, “You’re not my brother at all. I misunderstood, I clung to you. No wonder they hate me…”

She bit her lip, shaking her head, as if unable to bear the shock, her body trembling.

A hint of regret flashed through Fu Chen’s heart. He quickly lifted her and placed her on the edge of the bed, comforting her in a low voice, “Stop crying, Qingqing. If you want, I can still be your brother.”

“Go away.” Bai Qingqing, as if unable to accept the truth, cried with her head buried, resisting, “I don’t want to see you.”

Fu Chen’s dark eyes dimmed slightly. He pursed his lips and left the room at her insistence.

Hearing the sound of the door closing, Bai Qingqing stopped crying. She rolled over and lay on the bed, using tissues to wipe away her tears. Her eyes were slightly red, with a hint of charm.

She didn’t expect Fu Chen to be provoked and reveal their fake sibling relationship. She could only temporarily accept that she couldn’t be near him.

The next day.

Bai Qingqing appeared before everyone’s eyes, and a few keen-eyed individuals noticed that her eyes were slightly swollen, as if she had cried fiercely last night.

They also noticed that Bai Qingqing was surprisingly indifferent towards Fu Chen.
