MDMSC Chapter 78

Extra Ends

Jun Yue had never felt there was a time when her energy could not keep up, but by the time Fang Anyu had finished tossing her around at night and the alcohol had worn off, she basically could not even cry anymore. No matter what kind of farmhouse resort it was, as long as it was in the service industry, certain things were always prepared.

But the problem was that both of these inexperienced little things did not know how to use them. Fang Anyu had never come into contact with them at all, while Jun Yue was all talk and no practice. Their clumsy intimacy took a very long time from beginning to end, and no precautions had been taken. Jun Yue mainly cried because she had been frightened.

It was not that it hurt that badly. Mainly, she had been nervous. Fang Anyu was usually always very gentle, but after drinking, he was like someone who had taken drugs. His eyes were red, and he was fierce. The strength he used to press down on Jun Yue’s hands was so great that it really scared her.

But if one said she was unwilling, that was not the case either. Fang Anyu did not understand, and at the critical moment, he was enduring so hard he was almost crying, yet he did not know what to do. In the end, she had been the one to teach him. In her heart, Jun Yue had been prepared for and had looked forward to the two of them becoming intimate completely.

But this was different from what she had imagined! She had only hoped Fang Anyu would be a little gentler. Even gentler.

So she felt wronged, scared, and also afraid that because they had not taken precautions, she would get pregnant before marriage and die of embarrassment. She was also afraid that Fang Anyu would turn around and refuse to acknowledge it, and then she would become an abandoned woman. In short, her mind went wherever the nonsense was, and she whimpered and cried for most of the night. When she woke up the next day, her eyes were so swollen she could barely open them.

The next morning, Jun Yue was on edge the whole time. She woke before the sky was fully bright, mainly because she was afraid. She was afraid her friends would see her like this and laugh at her. If that happened, she really would become famous.

So when the sky was only faintly light and all the people who had fooled around the night before were still asleep, Jun Yue, like a dying person in illness, gritted her teeth and sat up in shock. She shook Fang Anyu awake and shoved her phone in front of his eyes.

— Get up. We’re leaving now!

After the alcohol wore off, Fang Anyu returned to that gentle, soft version of himself. He rubbed his eyes, saw the words on the screen, and without saying anything, climbed up and got dressed. Jun Yue looked at him pitifully and muttered about how he was not considerate at all. Then she saw that after Fang Anyu got dressed, he turned back and hugged her, kissing her face to soothe her while helping her put on her clothes.

Jun Yue cried again. Holding Fang Anyu’s neck, she bit him hard.

Fang Anyu himself did not know what he was like after drinking. He had never drunk before.

But he had not blacked out. He remembered everything. He remembered Jun Yue crying miserably, calling him gege, and begging him, but he had been unable to control himself. He felt extremely guilty.

He typed an apology to Jun Yue, cupped her face in his hands, wiped away her tears, then helped her put on her clothes and held her, coaxing her for quite a while. Only then did Jun Yue manage to hold back the urge to cry. The two of them left the farmhouse resort, but did not take the car they had come in. Instead, they hired a car from the resort to send the two of them into the city.

Today was Sunday. The two of them directly went to a hotel in the city to settle down. Jun Yue sent messages to her friends saying that she had gone to watch the sunrise and left first. Her tone even carried a hint of showing off, but in reality, she had pitifully changed locations to lie down. After taking the emergency contraceptive pill Fang Anyu bought for her, she kept frowning with a small face.

Her whole body felt uncomfortable, and she was hungry too, but she did not want to eat. Her heart felt empty. Fang Anyu kept comforting her, but Jun Yue still could not lift her spirits. She could not explain what this feeling was. She was not some delicate, pretentious person, and she was thoroughly annoyed by herself being like this now. But she could not control wanting to cling to Fang Anyu, wanting to deliberately make things difficult for him so that he would coax her.

Fang Anyu also knew that he had gone too far yesterday, and he felt terribly guilty. He cooperated especially well, coaxing Jun Yue for the entire day. He went up and down many times to buy things. One had to know that he had never independently interacted with other people like this before. Fortunately, he could type on his phone, so nothing went wrong.

For the whole day, Fang Anyu coaxed Jun Yue into eating two bowls of congee. He also ate a little casually. Then, when he applied medicine for her at night, Jun Yue cried again.

Fang Anyu was as gentle as possible, but no matter how gentle he was, the medicine still had to be applied inside. Jun Yue was not crying because of pain, but she simply could not help it. After crying, she even despised herself. Later, she could not help anxiously typing on her phone to ask:

— Will you think I’m annoying?

After Fang Anyu read it, he smiled, shook his head, and kissed Jun Yue’s nose.

He replied:

— I won’t. It was my fault. I shouldn’t have treated you like that.

He should not have done that with Jun Yue at all, but no matter how well he had planned in his heart, no matter how hard he had tried to restrain himself, the alcohol had still burned his reason away.

Compared to Jun Yue’s fear, Fang Anyu was even more afraid. He was afraid he did not have the ability to take responsibility. It was not that he had never thought about the future.

The two little ones hugged each other for the entire day and, for the first time in their lives, began thinking about the future. Jun Yue’s mood did not fluctuate as much as Fang Anyu’s. She mainly clung to him, feeling that something between the two of them had changed.

Compared to before, there was an indescribable intimacy between them. She was happy, yet also afraid that it was only temporary. All the way until they had no choice but to go home at night, her eyes had mostly gone down from swelling, but when they parted at her family’s gate, she still could not help her eyes reddening.

After Fang Anyu returned home, he was no longer quite the same as before. He no longer told Mother Fang everything. He only shut himself inside his room and frantically read books.

If he and Jun Yue were together, they were bound to be obstructed. But he had to take responsibility for what he had done. Jun Yue had been bullied by him until she cried like that. From now on, as long as Jun Yue did not abandon him, he absolutely would not abandon Jun Yue either.

He wanted to find a way to survive even as someone like him, even though Fang Anyu knew that the chance of them reaching the end together was extremely slim.

He began working harder and harder to learn how to communicate with others. He forced himself to come into contact with new things, and even one day, more than two months later, he took the initiative to bring up to his mother that he wanted to go to school.

Because of this request he took the initiative to make, the Fang family was shaken. At the same time, Jun Yue, who had originally spent every day messing around, also began to rein herself in. She saw Fang Anyu’s efforts and was moved by his seriousness.

At that time, she still did not know that wholehearted devotion was the strongest power in the world. She also did not know what kind of result would come from two people working hard for the same thing.

They had not even promised each other anything. They only held the worst possible expectations, hoping that they could hold each other’s hands and walk a little farther.

Every weekend, Jun Yue brought a huge pile of revision materials to the Fang house and shut herself with Fang Anyu in the small room on the second floor to study.

Fang Anyu also began attending classes. However, after choosing back and forth, what he chose was learning how to cook and bake.

For someone with his abilities and his level of education, this was the most suitable thing he could find in the short term. Because he was meticulous and focused in everything he did, he became the teacher’s favourite student in his current class.

Every time Jun Yue came to find him, the entire second floor and even the whole Fang house would be filled with the sweet scent of pastries. Every time Fang Anyu learned something new, he would definitely make it for Jun Yue to eat. His persistence made Jun Yue both amused and helpless. Even if she was in class, he would carry a bag and quietly wait outside for several hours, just so she could taste it and give him her opinion.

As time went on, there was not a single girl in the whole school who did not envy Jun Yue. This greatly satisfied her vanity and also made her want to do more and more. Otherwise, it would feel like she was not worthy of Fang Anyu’s feelings.

Actually, for children like them, the college entrance exam was not important. Many of the things they studied were targeted. Jun Yue’s efforts gradually began to show results too. She was naturally intelligent; it was just that her mind had never been on proper things. Once she suddenly became serious, she realised that God had actually always favoured her.

In one monthly exam, her results even surpassed Jun Yu’s. This made Old Master Jun, who was extremely busy, take time out specially to return home and talk with Jun Yue.

Jun Yue had been so busy recently that her head spun. Only after picking up all the half-learned courses she had previously neglected did she realise how difficult it was. There were many things she was basically starting from zero. Every day, she almost always slept at one or two in the morning. Her only relaxation was on weekends, when Fang Anyu would specially make her a lot of delicious food.

They spent entire days together, each working hard in their own way. Only their calves or arms would touch from time to time, and every time, Jun Yue felt as if she were charging herself.

Of course, sometimes Fang Anyu would pull her into his large wardrobe, either gently grinding against her to ease her stress, or covering her mouth and bullying her fiercely until her tears streamed.

They were sweet and romantic like every other couple, and also unlike every other couple, because they had never argued.

Jun Yue never felt bored. If, during the first snowfall of early winter, you saw the boy you liked wearing a handsome, fitted coat, burying his face in a scarf, standing for one or two hours just to bring you a small dessert, you would not want to argue with him either.

Besides, Jun Yue had never thought there was anything bad about Fang Anyu choosing to study pastries. She sincerely felt happy that he could bravely come into contact with new things.

Winter passed and spring arrived. Fang Anyu had grown a little taller and could already skilfully understand everyday lip-reading. As for Jun Yue, apart from the waves in front of her chest having grown another size, the top of her head now only reached Fang Anyu’s shoulder. Even wearing extremely high heels, she was still a bit shorter.

What surprised both of them was that when the season of spring flowers arrived, the two of them had endured the winter that was said to be cursed, when couples easily broke up. Even when midsummer arrived, they still did not meet any resistance.

After more than half a year of effort, Jun Yue’s grades had improved as if they were flying. And the friends around her had also been washed away like sand in a tide. Because she no longer went out fooling around, only a sparse few remained.

Old Master Jun spoke with Jun Yue twice. Each time, Jun Yue faced him like she was facing a great enemy, but he only asked lightly, “Are you still with that one from the Fang family?”

After Jun Yue answered yes, he said nothing more.

On the day of Fang Anyan’s eighteenth birthday and adulthood ceremony, it happened to be the first anniversary of Jun Yue and Fang Anyu’s meeting. The two of them did not attend the banquet. Instead, they were in Fang Anyu’s little greenhouse, changing the soil for a batch of flowers. The not particularly pleasant smell of fertiliser water made Jun Yue irritable. While relying on the fact that Fang Anyu could not hear her to grumble and curse, she also worked without complaint, carefully and attentively, because this was something Fang Anyu liked. Jun Yue treasured it very much.

For an entire night, others were at a high-end banquet looking glamorous and beautiful, while Jun Yue and Fang Anyu had their hands covered in thick mud. Yet they had never been happier.

“When I’m older, I’ll get you a super huge greenhouse. It’ll be able to hold lots and lots of flowers. I’ll keep you as my little kept man!” Jun Yue spoke to Fang Anyu very slowly and exaggeratedly, making sure Fang Anyu could understand.

Fang Anyu smiled and nodded. His lips moved slightly as he mouthed:

— Okay.

Jun Yue was actually better at lip-reading than Fang Anyu. After all, she was smart and had deliberately gone to learn it. She absorbed it quickly and did not forget once she learned. But every time she saw Fang Anyu move his lips, Jun Yue would stare at him seriously, afraid of missing even the slightest bit. Sometimes, when Fang Anyu moved his lips unconsciously, she would dig to the bottom of it and ask what he had said.

The two of them graduated together in winter. Jun Yue did not change locations for university; she remained at the same school. Fang Anyu, however, changed to another place to study and followed his teacher into a starred restaurant as an assistant.

This time, they could not meet on rest days. Jun Yue specially skipped her Monday classes, because only on the first weekday of the week would there be a little less noise at Fang Anyu’s workplace.

During their brief day together, the two of them secretly bought a house outside. Everything inside was chosen one item at a time by the two of them. It had already become their little home.

Occasionally, when friends from their circle mentioned Jun Yue and Fang Anyu, they would sigh that they still had not broken up, then guess they probably would not be able to keep it up much longer.

But one year, two years, all the way until Jun Yue graduated with excellent grades, and Fang Anyu, after many competitions, finally earned a star and became able to take his teacher’s place, the two of them still had not broken up.

After graduation, Jun Yue was supposed to enter the family company for an internship. Having been obedient for so long, she finally rebelled once.

She did not enter the Jun family business. Instead, she and Fang Anyu took all the money they had accumulated over the years and opened a themed dessert shop together in a scenic area.

It was a building like a glasshouse filled with sunlight. Inside were all kinds of plants. The partitions between seats were all greenery. The floor was paved with green bricks, small bridges crossed flowing water, and fish swam beneath. To outsiders, it looked like something opened just for fun. Yet because of the taste of the food and its customised operating model, it quickly appeared in food magazines and travel magazines.

When interviewed, many people said they had never imagined they would have to fill out a form to buy dessert. It was practically like submitting a job application. But the tailor-made desserts truly left most of them with an unforgettable memory.

One young girl even said with tears in her eyes that she had gone there after a breakup and had tasted the flavour of being loved.

The two of them practically began living like recluses in a “deep forest.” Every day, aside from being busy in the kitchen for a while, they tended to the flowers and plants in the shop.

In the year Fang Anyu was twenty-five and Jun Yue was twenty-four, under everyone’s tacit acceptance, they finally began discussing marriage.

It was not that the Fang family had never expressed an opinion, but every time Father Fang and Mother Fang wanted to say something, Fang Anyan would jump out and say, “Let my brother live the life he wants. I’ll shoulder the family burden. My brother won’t ever be better off than he is now.”

As for the Jun family, after Jun Yu graduated, she entered the family business and had already gained strong credibility within the company. She had undergone surgery and endured the recovery period. Now, if she wore a long skirt or trousers, one could not see her disability at all.

It was just that the relationship between the two sisters had always been very weak. Old Master Jun tried to get Jun Yue to return home and help, but Jun Yue refused. Old Master Jun was getting old. He once asked Jun Yue whether she was determined to be with Fang Anyu, even if the Jun family gave her nothing.

Jun Yue only asked in return, “Grandpa, have you never had a time when, for another person, you didn’t want to care about anything else?”

Old Master Jun fell silent. From then on, he never interfered in Jun Yue’s affairs again. He even helped the two of them when they opened their shop.

Of course he had once thrown caution to the wind. Perhaps if he could do it again, he would not choose the same way, but he had never regretted that choice either.

Their wedding was especially grand. Almost all the notable figures in Qiuhai City attended. The person in charge of organising the wedding was Wu Zhenfei.

He had married before Jun Yue. Although he and his partner argued noisily, they already had an adorable baby. By now, he could face Jun Yue calmly and prepare a wedding for the girl he had once liked.

As for Jun Yu, who had never been particularly close to Jun Yue, because Jun Yue threw the bouquet to her at the wedding as a gesture of goodwill, she slowly began to let go of the past with her.

They had all grown up, each into their best selves.

Weddings were very tiring. After it ended, the bride and groom basically collapsed on the bed. There was no romantic night that evening. The two of them simply slept under the quilt for the whole night.

After the wedding, there was no impact on their lives at all. They had already lived like this for many years. It seemed that whether they married or not, they would continue living like this forever.

By this year, they had been together for a full seven years. There was no seven-year itch. They still had never argued even once. Even when they married, they had not given each other any promise about forever.

They were simply used to holding each other’s hands with all their strength, just like back then when their feelings had still been so fragile and shaky that any opposition could have broken them apart. They held on as much as possible and refused to let go. This had already become the most beautiful posture in their love.

They loved each day as if there were no future, using all their strength, so that no matter where tomorrow or an accident cut things off, they would not regret it.

But life was often like this. The more afraid you were, the more likely you were to make mistakes. The more constantly prepared you were, the less likely any accident was to happen.

One year after Jun Yue got married, the company side was truly too busy to cope. A resort cooperation project made Jun Yu, who was already busy enough to have her feet barely touch the ground, even more overwhelmed. This was because the partner in the project always had improper intentions toward her, changing his attitude every day. Recently, it had become even more ridiculous. The additional condition in the contract was actually that she had to marry him, making Jun Yu’s head feel as big as a basket.

At the same time, Old Master Jun happened to fall seriously ill, so Jun Yue had no choice but to return to the Jun family to help Jun Yu.

It was late autumn, almost early winter, and the tourism off-season was about to begin. Jun Yue and Fang Anyu simply closed the shop and returned to the Jun family.

However, after Jun Yue heard the other party’s conditions and read the contents of the contract, she asked Jun Yu what she was considering. Jun Yu actually said she was considering a marriage alliance. Jun Yue asked her whether she liked him, and Jun Yu said she did not know him at all and had only met him twice.

In the end, this was Jun Yu’s matter, so Jun Yue could not conveniently interfere. She only told her to consider it carefully. The result of Jun Yu’s careful consideration was that half a month later, she became engaged to the man she had only met twice. The location was set at the resort that had only been half-built.

Jun Yue took Fang Anyu there. As soon as they entered the banquet, they ran into Fang Anyan… and his female companion.

The whole room was full of long dresses and formal gowns, yet his female companion wore a fitted camouflage outfit, high boots, and dreadlocks. It made Jun Yue think this was some kind of themed engagement banquet where everyone had to roleplay.

Fang Anyan had not seen his brother for a long time either, so he pulled his brother aside to talk. Jun Yue stood in the corridor with this cool-looking young woman and could not help asking, “Is that gun real?”

The young woman leaned against the wall, smiled faintly, and unclipped it before handing it to Jun Yue. However, she deliberately played a joke. When she handed over the gun, the muzzle was pointed at Jun Yue. Jun Yue reached out, grabbed the gun, and removed the bullets in one smooth motion. When she finished, both of them froze in the corridor.

“You know guns?” The young woman smiled and whistled. “You’re pretty skilled. My name is Ji Fei. What about you?”

“Jun Yue…” Jun Yue looked at the heavy magazine in her hand, somewhat dazed. “No, I don’t.”

At this moment, Fang Anyu and Fang Anyan returned. Seeing one of the two standing women pointing a gun at the other, they froze too.

Fang Anyan knew what Ji Fei did. He hurriedly hugged Ji Fei and asked in a low voice, “What are you doing?!”

Ji Fei shrugged, loaded the bullets back into the gun, and looked at Jun Yue with a smile.

Fang Anyu held Jun Yue’s hand. Jun Yue shook her head at him.

Fang Anyan hugged Ji Fei and said to Jun Yue, “Sister-in-law, don’t be afraid. This is… this is my girlfriend. She was just teasing you.”

Strangely, Jun Yue knew that was a real gun, but she was not scared at all.

She shook her head, said it was fine, and entered the banquet first with Fang Anyu.

In the corridor, however, Ji Fei pressed the loaded gun against Fang Anyan’s chin. “What am I to you? Say it again.”

Fang Anyan tilted his neck back, swallowed, and said somewhat angrily, “Then I can’t exactly say you’re my bed partner!”

Ji Fei grabbed his collar, pressed him against the wall, and slid the gun down along his collar toward an unspeakable place. She said, “You were the one who said you didn’t have a female companion and asked me to come…”

Ji Fei paused, then laughed with a scoff. “No one has ever dared to say they want to be my man. Being my boyfriend isn’t that simple, understand?”

Fang Anyan swallowed again, his Adam’s apple rolling. “How hard can it be? Harder than sleeping with you?”

Ji Fei suddenly burst into loud laughter, laughing until she bent over. Fang Anyan, however, did not seem afraid of the gun in her hand. He threw down one sentence: “Sleeping with me is harder. If you don’t become my girlfriend, you won’t have a chance in the future.”

He would never again be threatened by her even if he died!

After saying that, he walked straight toward the banquet hall. It was just that his steps were very slow, as if he were waiting for someone. When he finally heard Ji Fei following, the corners of his mouth revealed an extremely beautiful curve. It flashed by and disappeared, and he put on an arrogant face again, like a little peacock spreading its tail. With his arm around his girlfriend, he entered proudly.

This engagement banquet was also especially lavish. Looking at the guests invited and the decorations, one could tell the other party valued this engagement greatly.

Most business marriages were only a matter of formality. But when Jun Yue saw an outrageously flashy man kneel on both knees in front of Jun Yu, take out a diamond ring, and begin proposing, she knew this man had probably liked her silly younger sister for a long time.

Everything in this world could be disguised, except the gaze a person used when looking at someone they loved. That could not be faked.

After the engagement banquet ended, most of the guests left. But as the woman’s family, people like Jun Yue and Fang Anyu, and even Fang Anyan and Ji Fei, were warmly asked to stay.

They were also arranged into extremely luxurious suites, and Jun Yu’s fiancé personally led the way.

“You don’t look like Yu’er,” he said. This was Jun Yue’s first time meeting this man and also her first time looking at him carefully. He could be considered elegant and graceful. Jun Yue already knew his name was Li Li. He still introduced himself. “My name is Li Li. From now on, we’re family. Since we’re family, I’ll be direct. Regarding your themed restaurant, I have some opinions. I hope you can listen…”

Li Li spoke eloquently the entire night, describing the future prospects of the resort as if they were unmatched in heaven and earth. But to summarise it simply, he wanted Jun Yue and Fang Anyu to move their themed restaurant into the resort.

Of course, Jun Yue did not agree. She only smiled and said she would consider it. However, Li Li was indeed very sincere, and Jun Yue confirmed that he truly liked Jun Yu, because every time he mentioned her, his eyes lit up. Also, he could not go three sentences without mentioning Jun Yu.

After finally sending Li Li away, Jun Yue and Fang Anyu washed up and prepared to sleep. However, after Jun Yue finished washing, she delayed getting into bed for a long time, dragging things out with all kinds of excuses as she warily observed Fang Anyu’s every move.

He had drunk alcohol tonight!

One glass. As for whether he was drunk, Jun Yue did not know, because when Fang Anyu got drunk, one could not tell.

But she was tired and sleepy. She could not stay awake forever. Fang Anyu also did not chase her around the room, nor did he show any signs of going crazy. He only sat at the bedside very peacefully, holding a book and reading. He was even wearing glasses, appearing extremely harmless.

Over the years, Jun Yue had guarded against it strictly and basically never let Fang Anyu drink. Tonight, Li Li had toasted him as his brother-in-law, and he could not refuse. That was why he had only drunk one glass.

Jun Yue observed him for an hour and found nothing unusual. Only then did she climb into bed. Once she lay down, Fang Anyu even gently reached out and stroked her head. He had long since left behind his youthful appearance. His features were deeper now. In the past year, he had changed his hairstyle and gotten glasses. His soft fringe was all combed up, exposing his whole face. Paired with a pair of low-prescription glasses, when he narrowed his eyes slightly, he had quite the aura.

If Jun Yue had not seen what he looked like as a youth, she absolutely would not believe that someone this cool-looking could be so gentle.

But on a night like this, Fang Anyu’s water-like tenderness was ignited by alcohol. The more fiercely it was suppressed, the more overwhelming it became when it erupted.

Jun Yue was still unaware. She turned her head and smiled at Fang Anyu, then immediately could no longer smile. Fang Anyu was indeed holding a book, and he had indeed been flipping pages at an even pace the entire time. But damn it, the book was upside down. He had not been reading at all!

The peaceful, beautiful scene was fake. This sinister thing had clearly spent over an hour fishing!

Waiting for this pitiful little fish to bite the hook, then instantly lifting the rod!

Jun Yue was fairly quick. She spat out the bait and ran, but it was already too late. Her body had rolled downward, but her little foot was caught. There was not the slightest expression on Fang Anyu’s face. This was the ghostly state he entered when drunk. Bit by bit, he grabbed Jun Yue by the ankle and dragged the shrieking, struggling her back onto the bed. With his other hand, he unhurriedly untied the knot of his bathrobe.

Jun Yue cried again. They were already an old married couple, so there was no issue of pain. Deep down, she was not actually afraid either. She simply could not explain why, but she wanted to cry!

Just like the first time between them, she wanted to cry. She did not know why she was crying, but she cried miserably.

It was as if her body and mind were using this method to remember her union with another person. Jun Yue began calling gege again. Good gege. Begging gege.

Perhaps because Fang Anyu had drunk less this time, Jun Yue was not left calling to the heavens with no answer and the earth with no response. After only a couple of pleas, Fang Anyu lowered his head and kissed her tears. His lips moved as he responded:

— Gege is here.

Just like that night many years ago, he had also responded countless times in his heart. It was just that back then, he truly could not stop, just as now.

So many years had passed, and he still longed for her to the extreme. Jun Yue was also still willing to hold tightly onto the person “bullying” her like this, sinking and floating on the little boat he created, tossing and rolling.

Early the next morning, Jun Yue opened her eyes and saw Fang Anyu standing by the window, looking down. Jun Yue got up, her body sore, and walked over lazily to hug him from behind.

From beneath his arm, she looked downstairs.

Morning light slanted down, coating the resort with an indescribable vitality. In the corner of the courtyard, Jun Yue saw Jun Yu covering her mouth and glaring at a bald man… Wait, bald?

Jun Yue narrowed her eyes and looked carefully. She could not help laughing. So it was that domineering-CEO-like Li Li. This was over for him. Bald at such a young age—Jun Yu definitely would not like that.

Fang Anyu turned around and hugged Jun Yue, lowering his head to kiss the space between her brows. Using lip language, he said:

— I like this place.

Jun Yue raised a brow. Fang Anyu said again:

— Let’s move here.

Of course, Jun Yue had no objection. She had never refused anything Fang Anyu truly wanted to do.

Fang Anyu really did act as soon as he said it. While the resort was still under construction, they began moving all the flowers, plants, trees, and even the fish and little birds from their entire shop.

When their shop reopened, it was also the season of spring flowers, on the same day as the resort’s opening.

And Jun Yu and the bald CEO Li Li also announced their marriage that day. Fang Anyan once again brought his girlfriend to attend. This time, his girlfriend finally wore a formal gown. With her smooth, muscular lines, she looked both cool and fierce. She always made people suspect that in the next moment, she would pull a Gatling gun from under her skirt and mow down everyone present.

As for Jun Yue, she had been busy since morning and was now curled up asleep on a chair in the back kitchen.

Fang Anyu reached out and lightly tapped the tip of her nose. She showed no sign of waking at all, so he took advantage of a spare moment in his work and used flour to draw all over her face.

Jun Yue always said Fang Anyu was gentle, and she said it to everyone. But actually, in their relationship, the gentlest one was Jun Yue herself. She used the best years of her youth to wait for a boy to grow up. With the most trusting attitude, she accompanied him step by step. She never had any demands of him, and almost never questioned his decisions. She gave him the most suitable encouragement and accepted all his good intentions.

She kept waiting and waiting, waiting until the boy she liked grew into an adult, until he could live and work like a normal person, until he found all his confidence again and could firmly hold her hand as they walked through the rest of their lives.

And Fang Anyu himself was thankful every moment. Originally, he had only been an inconspicuous weed in this world. He could not speak, could not move, could not hear the world, and the world also seemed unable to feel him.

But after he met Jun Yue, in the best years of their youth, she planted him in her palm and carefully watered him, waiting for him to grow, waiting until he bloomed a flower that belonged only to her.

Then she allowed his fragrance to overflow and accompanied him into immortality.

— End

**Nomad:  So… what did you think?

Originally, I had hoped to release the novel as a bulk upload at the end of the month. However, I think the previous translator picked it back up midway through and completed it. Since I had already translated everything and only had two chapters left to proofread, I decided to finish the proofreading and release it earlier instead.

At one point during the main story, I genuinely wondered whether the rest of the novel was just going to be them and their *ahem, ahem* scenes, lol. Thankfully, the extras helped move the story along.

I really liked the idea that, in every lifetime (except for their tragic first lifetime) they always ended up together. I especially enjoyed the final extra, with its alternate version of their youth. Although, I still want to know the full story behind why he is deaf and mute!

While I have the time, I’ll aim to bulk-release a novel like this once a month, preferably. Most of the novels you currently see receiving monthly chapter updates are on my list of future bulk releases. I hope you enjoyed the novel!**
