Yu Wan had nothing in common with her new neighbor, whether it was charisma, personality, or cooking skills, aside from the fact that they both own dogs. Their two cute pets get along well (a little too well). And because of that, the two of them somehow started a sort of friendship. However, Yu Wan had more important things to worry about. Her wildly popular novel was about to be adapted into a drama. And the catch? The handsome, mysterious, and infuriating neighbor just so happens to be the director!

Reporter: Director Shen, between you and your wife, who pursued whom?
Shen Qingzhou: She pursued me.
Reporter: Wow, how romantic! Then, may I ask, why did you eventually say yes?
