Mu Wanwan was seriously considering whether she should take Mr. Dragon out into the courtyard to bask in the sun.
Although she had never had experience caring for a vegetative… dragon before, Mr. Dragon was currently in half-dragon form. Thinking about it, he was probably similar to those vegetative patients in the modern world, except Mr. Dragon’s body was much stronger than theirs, and the pain he suffered was far greater.
In the past, she had participated in volunteer work. People whose bodies had been injured or disabled could develop psychological problems if they went too long without going outside for a walk.
“I’ll have to make a wheelchair myself,” Mu Wanwan murmured.
She did not know whether this world had something like a wheelchair, but Mr. Dragon’s tail was broken. After he woke up in the future, his legs would probably be disabled too, and walking might not be very convenient.
When the tyrant heard her say “wheelchair,” although he did not understand what it was, he instinctively felt that this thing called a “wheelchair” must have something to do with him. The sweet, slightly cloying taste of the Hundred Treasures Fruit was still lingering in his mouth, and a trace of sourness rose in his heart.
This had once been the fruit he hated eating the most.
Mr. Dragon slowly withdrew his divine consciousness. Enduring that indescribable feeling, he mobilised all the spiritual power in his body, attempting to piece together the core that had shattered into several fragments and break the curse.
Originally, he had felt it no longer mattered. But now, he suddenly very much wanted to recover.
At the very least, he wanted to see with his own eyes this wife who had been sent to bring him good luck, yet did not despise his tail.
His eyelashes trembled. Mr. Dragon did not know what he had thought of, but his heart suddenly became covered in gloom.
Before the curse was broken, his tail would rot again and again.
Once or twice, perhaps she could tolerate him.
But after a long time?
She would run away, wouldn’t she?
The black-red curse lines on his face suddenly moved hideously, like venomous snakes twisting through dark thorns, ready at any moment to destroy the faint light at the end of the path.
Mu Wanwan had absolutely no idea that Mr. Dragon was actually such a delicate-minded and troublesome vegetative dragon.
She sat on the stool and began thinking about the plot that came afterwards.
According to the original story, Bai Shuiyao should have escaped last night and been forcefully kissed by Ao Qin, thus opening the first spicy phase of **Love Grows with Time: The Disabled Tyrant’s Runaway Bride for Good Luck **.
Ao Qin occupied most of the descriptions in the early part of the story. Before the tyrant woke up, he and Bai Shuiyao became endlessly entangled, flirting ambiguously back and forth.
Mu Wanwan still remembered the part in the book where the female supporting character was stabbed to death. Those words had left a deep psychological shadow on her.
“Ao Qin was powerful, and he was extremely angered by the two women’s attempt to escape. In a fit of rage, he released a ray of dark golden light. For some reason, Mu Wanwan’s face suddenly stiffened, her eyes rolled back, and she slowly slid down against the corner of the wall, as if every bone in her body had been broken.
Bai Shuiyao was badly frightened. With tears in her eyes, she took two steps forward, as if wanting to help Mu Wanwan up. But before she could even touch a corner of the clothes of her nominal young miss, she fell into a broad embrace.”
“Ao Qin wrapped one arm around her waist. His movement could not be called gentle, but it was not particularly rough either. He only said to her coldly, ‘Don’t touch her. She’s dirty.’
Bai Shuiyao glared at him angrily, her cheeks flushed red. For some reason, Ao Qin’s heart stirred at the sight, and maintaining the posture of holding her, he fiercely kissed those soft pink lips. Bai Shuiyao was unable to resist and could only whimper that he couldn’t. By the time the two of them came back to their senses from that kiss, Bai Shuiyao finally noticed that there was no longer any Mu Wanwan in the corner—only a pile of meat paste wearing clothes remained.”
Mu Wanwan suddenly shuddered. Her heart felt chilled. Although she had already escaped this disaster, the memory was still unpleasant. She just didn’t know whether Bai Shuiyao had already run away or not.
Mu Wanwan rubbed her aching head. As for Bai Shuiyao, she really did not have any good solution. Bai Shuiyao was nominally her maid, but she was, after all, the daughter Father Mu doted on more. She had not been registered as a servant of low status. Although Mu Wanwan could use her identity as the young miss to suppress her verbally, she could not truly cause Bai Shuiyao any substantial harm.
And if Bai Shuiyao really hooked up with Ao Qin, then both she and Mr. Dragon would be helpless and without support. When that time came, they would definitely be bullied by her.
Mu Wanwan was in the middle of feeling a headache when she saw Bai Shuiyao hurriedly push open the door from outside and enter.
Her hair was messy, her plain white skirt was covered in dirt, there was a little blood on her cheek, and her expression looked somewhat panicked and aggrieved. Before Mu Wanwan could even put down the seeds, Bai Shuiyao grabbed her arm.
“Miss, I—I’m doomed. Help me!”
The moment she heard the word “Miss,” Mu Wanwan’s heart tightened. If Bai Shuiyao was taking the initiative to call her Miss, then it definitely wasn’t anything good!
Bai Shuiyao’s voice was hoarse and wronged. Her beautiful peach-blossom eyes were full of tears, the corners of her eyes still carrying a hint of charm. Her lips were a little red and swollen, making it look as if someone had taken liberties with her.
She said softly, “Wanwan, I—I…”
Mu Wanwan’s heart tightened. Through Bai Shuiyao’s neck, which was full of red marks, she seemed to already see the miserable, difficult future awaiting her and Mr. Dragon. In a panic, she said, “Don’t tell me you were taken by Ao Qin…”
Before she could say the words “fancied by him,” Bai Shuiyao interrupted her tearfully.
“Ao Qin punished me to do hard labour in the cold palace beside the forbidden area!”
Hm??
Hard labour??
Mu Wanwan was instantly stunned by her words. The seeds in her hand fell to the ground with a plop. Not quite believing it, she asked in return, “Did I hear that wrong? Weren’t your lips swollen because Ao Qin forcefully kissed you?”
Bai Shuiyao had already been upset and angry because of yesterday’s terrible events. Now, seeing Mu Wanwan’s shocked and dazed expression, her anger nearly exploded.
“What are you talking about? My mouth was kissed by Qingye!”
Mu Wanwan: “…”
Why was this plot different from what she had imagined?

Mu Wanwan: *(peaceful.jpg)* “I thought there would be a fierce battle, but it turned out to be a win-by-doing-nothing mode.”
Little angel: “Get lost! Not listening, not listening to scummy Mu chanting scriptures!”
