Nomad translation – Future
Gu Xi died young. After drifting around as a ghost for several decades, she was finally reborn.
After her rebirth, she bundled together her biological older brother, younger brother, and the fake heiress—none of whom had ever treated her like family—and struck back at them without mercy. At last, she felt satisfied.
In her previous life, she had been emotionally manipulated by her adoptive parents in the countryside for fifteen years. After returning to the Gu family, she endured another five years of cold treatment from her parents and relatives. Foolishly, she believed that as long as she silently devoted herself to them and worked tirelessly without complaint, they would eventually accept her.
To hell with silently sacrificing herself. This time, she only wanted to go berserk and destroy them all.
Gu Xi believed that she was destined to die again. She had even planned to break off her engagement, only to end up marrying the powerful fiancé who had remained single for the rest of his life after her death in her previous lifetime.
Her fiancé appeared stern, unyielding, and difficult to approach, yet he was unexpectedly patient. He earned the money and did all the housework. Even when she suffered from period pains, he stayed awake all night applying warm compresses to her stomach. He practically pampered her as though she were his daughter.
Married life consisted of planting vegetables, watering flowers, raising rabbits, and doing whatever she enjoyed. Gu Xi gradually discovered that her reborn life was rather wonderful and that the future was something worth looking forward to.
In that case, she would put off dying for now.
In this lifetime, she wanted to live well and eventually die peacefully of old age.
